Meet our instructors. Linda Renne', Pre Dance & Dance I Instructor Linda Renne' began dancing at age 5 with tap and ballet. She continued classes throughout her school years developing her ballet skills to include pointe and partnering under the direction of various instructors including Kristen Beckwith formerly of the Washington Ballet. Linda studied jazz, modern, ballet, pointe and parnering at the Boston Conservatory of Music. Her studies also included anatomy, applied kineisology, labanotion, music apprieciation and music history. She also attended summer workshops at Skidmore College with instruction from Edward Vellala. Linda has studied in NYC at ABT. Linda then decided to take a leave of absence from the dance industry to focus on her marriage and family and is the proud mother of 2 children. She has taught Sunday school for 5 years and has led the youth group at various churches in the Fuquay area for the past 8 years. For the past three years at the Church of the Resurrection in Fuquay Varina, NC. In 2010 Linda was excited to return to dance at NYRDA and has studied with Ms Belvery in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and fitness. Linda is trained and continues to train in the teaching methods of the NYRDA. Larry Belvery, Gymnastics Coach Larry Belvery is a former gymnastics athlete from Dudley, Ma. He was an assistant instructor and spotter for 12 years and he has taught beginner to advanced gymnastics for the past 11 years at 3-Arts Dance Studio in Staten Island, NY. He was one of the coaches for 3-Arts Gymnastics company and has experience working with both young beginner gymnasts and pre-teen to adult avdanced gymnasts. Larry has also studied tap and ballet and performed for 8 years. Larry is trained in the teaching and spotting methods of the NYRDA. Jessalynn Moran, Pre Dance, Dance 1 & Gymnastics Instructor Jessalynn Moran from an early age had a great love for dance and she began her dance training at age 13. She is oringinally from the Connecticut/Massachusetts area and lived in Miami, FL for 2 years. When her step father got stationed at Fort Bragg, NC, she began studying dance and gymnastics at NYRDA. She quickly moved to more advanced classes working very hard. She became a studio helper and then an assistant teacher, training directly under Ms Belvery for 5 years. She learned quickly that she truely enjoys mentoring children. She regularly babysits in her spare time and plans to enroll in Paul Mitchel Beauty School in the spring. Jessalynn is trained in the teaching and spotting methods of the NYRDA. |
