| PROPER ATTIRE: Black Leotards/ Pink Tights Alternate colors over 10yrs old Leos with skirts are allowed Leos with shorts and tights are allowed for over age 10 White Tap Shoes (Pre-dance) Black Tap Shoes (Beginner to advanced Beginner) Tan Tap shoes with heel (JR, INT, SR & Adult) Pink Ballet Shoes Split sole only from a JR level up Tan Capezio Boot (JR, INT & SR Lyrical) Black Jazz Shoes Black Jazz Sneaker (Hip-Hop only) White Gymnastic Shoes Pointe shoes of student’s choice Instructor approval for fit of pointe shoes needed Leg warmers optional Boys: Shorts or sweats & tight fitted shirt GIRLS MUST WEAR TIGHTS AT ALL TIMES Hair longer than shoulder length should STUDIO POLICIES: • Leotards and tights and the proper shoes must be worn during class. No street shoes on dance floor. No loose jewelry and long hair should be off the neck. • No food or beverages allowed. Gum is strictly prohibited. • Students should arrive not more than 5 minutes before class dressed and ready and be picked up promptly. • Students may NOT bring friends to watch classes. • Since observing classes is not allowed, parents please remember "PEEKING" in on classes is most distracting and interferes with the students learning ability. • When students are participating in class or performing with NY Rhythm Dance Academy, all regulations established by us must be followed or the student will not be allowed to participate. • If during the season a problem should arise, please call before or after classes. We cannot stop or delay the teaching of classes during the afternoon or evening hours. • NY Rhythm Dance Academy and staff are not responsible for any injuries sustained while in the studio, on the premises and at or during any performances. All students must be covered by their own family insurance policy. • Please do not leave valuables in the studio unattended. The studio is not responsible for articles that are lost or stolen. • All accounts must be paid in full before the student is allowed to perform. Any student with an account 30 days arrear will not be allowed to participate in class and may only observe class until balance is paid. Any student with an account 60 days arrears will not be allowed to enter class and may loose class placement. • NY Rhythm Dance Academy reserves the right to use all pictures taken of students in class, in the studio, in performance and during recital season on the studio website, in brochures and in advertisements. • Absences during the year should be kept to a minimal. . No classes should be missed the last month before the recital. All studio policies, schedules and prices are subject to change without notice. Please check this website for all up to date policies and schedules. All information about classes, companies and teacher bios can be viewed on line at www.nyrhythmdance.com TUITION June and is due the first day of each month for all monthly payment plans. An additional $10.00 will be added to monthly tuition when paid after the 7th of the month. Tuition may be paid in annual or semi annual payments to prevent any late fees or students may pay by the class. (Ask for details) When choosing monthly payment plans first and last month payments are due at registration. ALL TUITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE FOR MISSED CLASSES. In most cases make-up classes are available. Extra rehearsal classes are included for students completing the session. Ask for details. A $35.00 ISF fee will be charged for each return check. Checks are only accepted when the check writers SS# is provided. Please make checks payable to 3-Arts. Please be sure the student's name is noted on checks. Registration is a $30.00 non-refundable fee for all new students. This is a one time only fee provided the student pre-registers before July 20th each year. In the event a student has the need to drop a class during the session, verbal or written notice must be given to the director or account manager before the 10th of the prior month. If notice is give before the 10th of the prior month and by an adult, parent or guardian and the account is on a monthly payment plan the account will not be charge for the next month. We regret that there are no refunds for tuition. However in some cases an account credit may be given for up to one year. There no refunds for costume deposits, costumes, recital fees, recital tickets, t-shirts recital DVD’s or pictures. TUITION POLICY: ALL MONTHLY TUITION PAYMENTS ARE DUE THE FIRST DAY OF EACH MONTH. AFTER THE 7TH A $10.00 LATE FEE WILL BE ADDED. PLEASE REMEMBER TO AVOID ANY LATE FEES, TUITION MAY BE PAID ANNUALLY, SEMI ANNUALLY OR IN 3 PAYMENTS. ASK FOR DETAILS. ANY STUDENT WITH AN ACCOUNT 30 DAYS ARREARS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS AND MAY ONLY OBSERVE CLASS UNTIL BALANCE IS PAID OR PAYMENT AGREEMENT IS REACHED. CLASS PLACEMENT WILL NOT BE HELD FOR A STUDENT WITH ACCOUNTS 60 DAYS ARREARS. CLASS PLACEMENT POLICY: Students are placed by technique, ability and experience. Age is a consideration, however we do not believe it is ever in the best interest of a student to place him or her by age alone. |
